In accordance with COVID-19 restrictions, patrons are required to enter through the main entrance adjacent the carpark.

Safe dining is a shared responsibility. Our commitment as a responsible employer and business operator is to create a safe environment for our guests, employees, and suppliers. We therefore operate in line with the Queensland governments’ Covid-19 rules. Those entering our premises have a responsibility to do likewise.

From December 17, 2021, the Queensland Government made vaccination a mandatory requirement for entry into hospitality venues. This health directive includes the Young Australian Hotel. As a business, we do not have a choice in enforcing Queensland Government health directives. Regardless of your views on this matter, we ask that you respect our staff and follow their directions. 

Children under 16 are not required to show proof of vaccination. 

Entry Requirements

• Check-in and show vaccination status (or exemption)
• Adhere to social distancing requirements upon entry, exit and when moving around the venue
• Comply with requests to relocate due to capacity restrictions in any area
• Respect our staff and the advice/directions they provide

Acceptable Proof of Vaccination

• Your vaccination information displayed on the Check in Qld app. Find out how to add your proof of vaccination status to the Check in Qld app
• written confirmation of COVID-19 vaccination provided to you as part of the vaccination process, such as your record of vaccine card
• a COVID-19 digital certificate or printed vaccination certificate from the Australian Immunisation Register
• an online or printed immunisation history statement for COVID-19 vaccination, including confirmation of a medical contraindication. 
• an International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate

Take Away Meals

Proof of vaccination status is not required for take-away orders which are still available here.
